When you think about senior year photos, the typical posed portrait in front of your High School might pop into your mind. Or even one of those awkward seated studio headshots where the photographer angles your head in the most uncomfortable position... You know what I'm talking about! Your senior photos don't have to be like the rest! Your senior photos should speak to who you are and this era of life that capture your personality. Senior year is full of transitions and excitement during this new season of life- setting off to pursue dreams and goals you have set for yourself. Besides, you'll never be a senior in high school again.
I'm here to capture this valuable season of life as you are while ensuring you feel confident knowing who you truly are when you walk away from our time together. When you book a senior session with me, we are curating your session around you. Maybe you find peace at the beach watching the waves or your favorite way to relax after school is at your favorite coffee shop. How far in advance should I book my session with you?
How do you ensure all of my images are safe & sound?
Both of my camera's that I photograph on have dual card slots. This means that everything I shoot is copied on to two cards. From the very beginning, you images are in two locations.
Once I complete your session, I directly export your images on to my hard drive and both memory cards are kept safe until your gallery is delivered!
Do you watermark your images? Can we print them?
I never have my watermark on my images- I want you to fully enjoy your images 100%. In order to do so, I don't want any distractions that can take away from your experience.
As for printing, PLEASE print your images!! You will fully get the experience of hiring a photographer from printing and hanging your images. I highly recommend printing your images from the print store directly connected to your gallery. This print store is top of the line & has wonderful, affordable options for gifts and keepsakes.
How far in advance should i book my session with you?
I open my books for each month 3 months in advance with availability on Tuesdays & Thursdays. My months typically fully book at least 1-2 months out for sessions. Feel free to inquire sooner so I can get you on my waitlist to be updated when dates launch!
What is your turn around time for photos?
You will receive your gallery in 2-4 weeks after your session. I always send a sneak peek directly to your email about a week after your session- I know you are itching to see your images!
It is important to remember that your turnaround time can fluctuate depending on when your session is booked. During busy season my turnaround time is a bit longer. Please refer to your contract for a timeline.
How do you deliver our images?
The most rewarding part of my job is the day you receive your awaited gallery. Your reactions are always so heartwarming & appreciated!
Your sneak peeks & full gallery will be delivered directly to your email inbox as a link to your gallery. This is where you can view, download and purchase prints from your session. You are also able to share your link with family and friends so they can purchase prints and download images for themselves.
What is your cancellation policy?
The booking deposit is non-refundable but the remainder of the invoice is not charged unless it is a week or less until your session or wedding date.
I always do my best to reschedule for an upcoming session date. As for weather. In the event you'd like to reschedule for a reasoning other than weather or unforeseen events, I allow one reschedule. After the complimentary reschedule, there will be a reschedule fee.
What do you recommend I wear for my session?
I will be sending you an outfit guide before our shoot together that will walk you through everything I recommend & everything I don't recommend.
Overall, I want you to be comfortable! I actually don't recommend wearing something brand new that you've never worn before. We don't want any wardrobe mishaps and I want you to wear something you absolutely know you love and are comfortable in.
I always recommend earthy tones and even add some fun layers to your aesthetic. If it's hot and you just want to wear shorts and a tank top that's great! Maybe add some bracelets, necklace, a hat, a neck scarf, or tie a long sleeved shirt around your waist. Adding fun layers to your outfit (even if your outfit is simple) can add a lot of fun elements to the photos!
