Timeless & Elegant Wedding at the NYIT De Severskey Mansion
Chris and Krista’s wedding at NYIT de Seversky Mansion felt like stepping into another era in the best way. The estate’s grand architecture and sweeping gardens created such a romantic, European-inspired backdrop, but what made the day unforgettable was how personal it all felt. It was beautifully planned by Eventful Days, and every detail reflected Chris and Krista so naturally — from the lush, textural florals by Pedestals Floral Decorators to the delicate invitation suite by Jessica Leigh Paperie. Krista wore a stunning gown by Galia Lahav that moved beautifully throughout the day, and Chris looked timeless in his classic suit from The Black Tux — everything felt elegant without trying too hard.
I spent the day documenting it the way I naturally do — leaning into movement, watching for the quiet glances, and letting moments unfold instead of forcing them. The grounds of the mansion gave us the dreamiest light for portraits, and as the evening settled in, the reception came alive thanks to Drive Up DJs, layered rentals from The Finishing Touch, and the romantic sound of live strings by Kerri Latten. Beauty was flawlessly handled by Zori Glam and Kendall Williams Hair, and I loved working alongside Amanda Films to preserve it all. Guests had so much fun stepping into the booth from JMC Photo Booths, which added such a joyful energy to the night.
For couples planning a wedding at NYIT de Seversky Mansion, this venue truly offers such a timeless, elevated setting — and it’s always an honor for me to document celebrations here in a way that feels honest, artful, and completely true to you.
