Elevated Private Estate Wedding in Saratoga Springs, New York
Brent and Morgan’s wedding in Saratoga Springs, New York felt like the most beautiful kind of estate celebration—intimate, joyful, and filled with so much intention. Their day had that elevated, garden-party feel while still holding onto the warmth of something deeply personal at this beautiful private estate. It felt like one big family gathering, where two families came together in the sweetest way, surrounded by soft summer light, colorful florals, and a sense of ease that carried through the entire day.
The design leaned into a whimsical, romantic aesthetic—long tables set for family-style dining, soft tones layered with playful color, and florals that felt organic and full of movement by Black Swan Floral Design. Every detail felt thoughtful but never overdone. With coordination by Madison Scattergood, the day flowed effortlessly, allowing Brent and Morgan to stay present with their people and truly soak it all in.
From a photography perspective, this kind of wedding is always so meaningful to document. I had the opportunity to photograph both digital and film at this lovely private estate for Brent and Morgan, giving the gallery more movement and texture. The slower pace, the connection between guests, the in-between moments—everything feels a little more personal. Whether it was laughter shared across the dinner table, quiet hugs between family members, or dancing as the sun set, the entire day felt like a reflection of who they are: warm, welcoming, and deeply connected.
If you’re planning an elevated and elegant private estate wedding or dreaming of a celebration that feels intimate, romantic, and family-centered, this kind of day is such a beautiful way to do it. I approach weddings like this with a storytelling mindset—capturing both the quiet, meaningful moments and the joy that unfolds naturally throughout the day.
