Paris, the City of Love, has always been a place where dreams come true. As a wedding photographer based in Pennsylvania, I couldn’t have been more thrilled when I had the opportunity to capture the love story of Calvin and Ashlee in the heart of Paris.

A Dream Come True

Going to Paris for a photoshoot had always been a dream of mine, and this opportunity felt like fate. As I touched down in the City of Lights, my heart raced with excitement, and I couldn’t wait to turn Calvin and Ashlee’s love story into visual poetry against the backdrop of Parisian splendor.

Free Falling Through The Louvre

Our first stop was the iconic Louvre Museum, where romance seemed to linger in the very air we breathed. The Louvre’s majestic architecture, framed by the setting sun, created the perfect backdrop for capturing the depth of Calvin and Ashlee’s love. With the Eiffel Tower peering in the background, every click of my camera captured their love story in a city that has seen countless romantic tales unfold.

As the day progressed, we ventured around the Louvre for some truly unique shots. Calvin and Ashlee’s free-spirited nature was on full display as they danced and twirled through the grand hallways, their laughter echoing through the ancient corridors. It was as if the Louvre itself was celebrating their love story.

Eating Paris, Savoring Love

One of the most heartwarming moments of our session was when Calvin and Ashlee shared croissants at a charming Parisian café. As they laughed and savored each bite, I couldn’t help but feel the warmth and sweetness of their connection. It was a snapshot of pure joy and love, etched forever in time.

Sampling delicious Parisian delicacies was such a  highlight of our adventure. From macarons to escargot, Calvin and Ashlee embraced the culinary delights of Paris with gusto. Their love for each other was mirrored in their shared appreciation for the rich and diverse flavors of the city.

Tourists in Love

Calvin and Ashlee completely leaned into the “tourists” role as they ventured around Paris, and their love for each other shone brighter than any landmark. Every corner of Paris seemed to hold a piece of their hearts. Their love was a testament to the idea that true love knows no boundaries, and it can be found in the most unexpected places.

Love Leading to an Unexpected Proposal

Keeping a little secret was such a fun part of this trip. The very next day, Calvin  would get down on one knee and propose to Ashlee, making the trip to Paris  all the more special. The love that flowed between them during our shoot was palpable, and it was an honor to capture these precious moments leading up to their engagement. Read about the dreamy proposal here!
