Winter can be such a tricky time of year to find locations that aren’t frosted over and gloomy due to chilling temperatures. (Unless you are lucky and live in all year Summer 😅). The best way to work around the bitter weather is having your engagement photoshoot in the city! In this blog post I will go through some pros to switching your ideas to having your dream session. The city holds so much opportunity that you may not think about before considering your engagement photoshoot in the city.

• City settings allow you to naturally bundle up in your coats without having a bitter, winter background. Hens the typical name for a city: a concrete playground!
• Compared to a park or a field, there are many different locations that can be a potential for your photoshoot. This session specifically started at the state capital, which then landed some shots at a rotating door, then the middle of the street at a cross walk, a church, and ended the session with a vintage mail box. So much potential in so many different spots!
• Outfits are easy to accumulate at a city location! It very customizable in the fact that you can dress down in a coat in some neutrals or dressing the session up in a nice ball gown and tuxedo.
