I have been accumulating quite a few couples who want to have a couples photoshoot on the beach- and I am TOTALLY here for it! Since I live in Central Pennsylvania, I take any chance I can get to have a photoshoot out of state to get new creativity flowing. Typically the beach is mainly used during summer for a couples photoshoots on the beach, but this was something new! We decided to have a bundled up session on the beach during the chilling temperatures of winter. Honestly, it was SUPER relaxing and I definitely would do it again in a heart beat. Something about going to the beach during winter when there is really no one on the sand except the occasional jogger- hits different! Who wants to have a couples photoshoot on the beach?! Let’s do it!

Joe and Emma fit the vibe perfectly for this cozy beach photoshoot! Like WOW! Joe and Emily were already in the ‘chill vibe’ mindset that I was going for during this session so it was very easy to capture. We played around with different techniques that I couldn’t use in the woods back in Pennsylvania and we chased the sea gulls for some cinematic shots. I also ended up spending the remainder of the day walking the boardwalk, getting an açaí bowl, and visiting some of the local surf shops that I always raid through their clothing! Any chance I get to shoot at Ocean City, New Jersey again- I’d take! Would you consider going to the beach during the winter? And if so- who are you going with?
